Samsung isn't releasing updates anymore for Tab Plus. The last update was Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2
If you want to upgrade to the latest Android Kitkat 4.4.4, Daniel who's a developer from Hong Kong made that possible by porting a lot of ROMs and continuously updating them for Tab Plus.
To avoid confusion by beginner users, the currently best stable and feature-filled ROM available for Tab Plus is CarbonROM.
